With production of season five of CBS' popular drama "The Good Wife" just a few weeks ahead, fans are curious to know what lies in store for their favorite characters. The show, which ended its fourth season in April, found Alicia (Julianna Margulies) at Cary's (Matt Czuchry) new firm and left her relationship with Will (Josh Charles) on the balance.

New details of the upcoming season have emerged, with the latest surrounding new characters and a possible love interest for Kalinda (Archie Panjabi). As reported earlier, producers of the show stated they were planning "a lot of surprises" for Kalinda and Cary.

According to a new report from TVLine, one of the three new recurring characters being looked for is "Holly, a smartypants Assistant State's Attorney who's an old friend and potential romantic foil for...Kalinda!" Will Holly prove to be the new "surprise" in Kalinda and Cary's relationship?

TVLine also reported that the CBS drama will be looking for two other recurring characters. The second character, whose unofficial name is Carey, is described as "a lawyer at Lockhart Gardner who is one of the fourth-year associates jumping ship with Cary and Alicia."

As for the final new character? That would be the "sexy, savvy in-house ethics adviser by the name of Marilyn." According to TVLine, her job will be to make sure the newly elected Governor Peter Florrick (Chris Noth) "plays by the rules."

Previous reports also addressed executive producer Robert King's desire to get actor Matthew Perry ("Go On") to reprise his role as Mike Kresteva. King told TVLine that he intends to do "whatever we can to get him."

Who do you think they will cast as Holly, Carey and Marilyn? And do you want Matthew Perry to reprise his role as Mike Kresteva?

"The Good Wife" will return for season five this fall on Sundays at 9 p.m. EST on CBS.
