Apple's Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) is set to launch today, but a major spoiler might have been provided last weekend in regards to the next mobile operating system.

Apple has long been rumored to confirm or preview the iOS 7 during the five-day WWDC. The rumors may come to end as images leaked online of organizers placing banners with the number seven on various locations of the conference.

The large "7" banners were placed outside and within the Moscone Center, host of the 2013 WWDC in San Francisco. This much or less confirms the iOS 7 will have a presence during the conference, unless Apple has other plans to do with "7."

The number seven on the banner is seen with various colors, ranging from near green, transitioning to blue, then purple, and finishing down with red, reminiscent to the logo of the WWDC.

A banner for the OS X was also spotted, different however from the "7" banner. The OS X banner features a white "X" in what appears to be an oceanic background, according to MacStories.

The iOS 7 and OS X could be introduced today during the keynote speech.

The 2013 WWDC wraps up on June 14 with over 100 sessions covering topics Apple hopes would help their products in the long run.

Tickets to attend WWDC went on sale in late April, priced at $1,599. The high price was no factor for some as tickets quickly sold out. Apple noted one must be a member of the iOS Developer Program, iOS Developer Enterprise Program, or the Mac Developer Program to purchase a ticket.
