Mozambique and Guinea will look to salvage their World Cup 2014 hopes when they face off on Sunday afternoon.

Guinea is the second place team in Group G with four points in three matches. However, the team is five points behind first place Egypt. The top team in the group books passage to the third round where it will take on another group winner. The victor of a two-legged matchup becomes one of the five African contestants at the World Cup next summer.

Guinea started its qualifying tournament with a 1-0 win over Zimbabwe but lost in its second match against Egypt by the final score of 3-2. In its most recent game, Guinea drew 0-0 with Mozambique.

Guinea must win in order to keep pace with Egypt. Heading into Sunday's match, the team can earn a maximum of 13 points if it wins the final three games. However, if it loses then it would only be able to earn 10 points; Egypt currently has nine and would only need one win in its final three matches to clinch the top spot. If Guinea loses to Mozambique and Egypt wins, then the group will be decided. If Guinea draws against Mozambique and Egypt wins, the same would happen.

Mozambique has two points and needs a number of factors to go its way in order to qualify for the third round. The team needs to win its final three games and must also hope that Egypt loses the rest of the way.

Prediction: Both teams will be tentative to give up any points will likely battle to a 1-1 draw.

Start Time: Kick off starts at 1 PM Eastern Standard Time.

TV Info: The match will not be transmitted on television in North America.
