Former UFC light heavyweight champion Quinton 'Rampage' Jackson will resume his mixed martial arts career under a different promotional outfit, reportedly signing a multiyear deal with Bellator MMA and TNA Wrestling.

According to Fox Sports News, Jackson will resume his MMA career with Bellator after his contract with UFC expired last January.

Jackson, who once lorded over the light heavyweight division in the UFC, boasts a 32-11 mixed martial arts record, although he lost his last three matches.

The 34-year-old Jackson joins former Strikeforce light heavyweight title holder Muhammed "King Mo" Lawal, who also inked a multi-fight contract with Bellator and TNA Wrestling.

Jackson is scheduled to confirm his signing with the promotion on Wednesday's press conference in Los Angeles. The deal reportedly includes a hefty signing bonus and an appearance in Bellator's reality series on Spike TV before making his debut on the cage.

Jackson started his MMA career in 1999 and went on to become one of the most electrifying MMA warriors in Japan's Pride FC. Rampage demolished a number of elite fighters during his tenure with the promotions, defeating Alexander Otsuka, Masaaki Satake, Igor Vovchanchyn, Kevin Randleman and Mikhail Illoukhine.

He also had a brief stint in kickboxing, where he scored a pair of impressive wins against former French heavyweight kickboxing champ, Cyril Abidi, in K-1.

But the highlight of his career was during his tenure with UFC, where he had memorable fights with Chuck Liddell, Dan Henderson, Lyoto Machida and Jon Jones. Jackson grabbed the UFC light heavyweight title after knocking out Liddell in the first round of UFC 71. He also finished his rivalry with Wanderlai Silva with a first round TKO win at UFC 92.

After losing to Rashad Evans at UFC 114, Jackson racked up two straight wins against Lyoto Machida and Matt Hammill to earn him another shot at the light heavyweight crown against Jon Jones at UFC 135. However, he ended up losing the fight via submission in the fourth round.

Jackson's career spiraled down after that loss as he succumbed to Ryan Bader and Glover Texeira in his next two bouts.
