Is Cristiano Ronaldo actually leaving Real Madrid? There has been no news on the Portuguese star's transfer status, but reports have emerged about Ronaldo selling his current house in Madrid.

According to NESN, "Ronaldo's Spanish villa has been listed on the website of Madrid-based property agency Promora. The 27-year-old hopes to fetch a cool €5.4 million ($7.1 million) for the villa, which is located in the suburban Madrid."

The publication notes there is a possibility that Ronaldo could be moving to another home in the city.

The Madrid star has been a major subject for transfer after a tumultuous season with his club. Ronaldo reportedly asked for a transfer out Spain's capital last August but club President Florentino Perez refused to let him walk. Ronaldo then refused to sign a contract extension in December after claiming that he was "sad." Despite the problems, Ronaldo scored 34 goals in the Spanish league and added a tournament -leading 11 tallies in the Champions League.

Manchester United has often been cited as a potential destination for the superstar. Ronaldo reportedly told some old teammates that he desired a return to his first club and fans have even started an online campaign called "Bring Ronaldo Home" to help the club raise money to purchase him from Real Madrid.

However, Real Madrid president Perez recently stated that he would not let Ronaldo leave the team. During an interview with Punto Pelota, Perez stated, "I believe Ronaldo will finish his career at Real Madrid."

He previously noted that he would not consider selling his superstar at all. "I will do everything in my power to renew the contract. He has two years left on his contract, he is the best in the world and we would like to give a boost to the team with him as a leader and an emblem," said Perez. "I would not sell him for 1,000 million euros (1 billion Euros). We are not a selling club."

Ronaldo currently signed with Real Madrid until 2015. He has scored 201 goals in 199 appearances for the club.
