After an unfortunate end of the recent Western Conference finals for the Memphis Grizzlies, forward Quincy Pondexter played a more impressive game on Twitter scoring a win with beauty titlist Chandler Lawson.

A single tweet started it all after the 25-year-old NBA player posted a tweet showing interest over Ms. Tennessee Chandler Lawson. And it didn't take long for the pageant winner to return the attention with another tweet. As expected, social media had the spotlight on these two following their puppy love story?

Like a bunch of high school kids asking a crush out for a date, spectators blush following their exchange of tweets. Now, all that's left is to wait and see where their first friendly date will take them next. Will it win Quincy a championship? Let's see.

Quincy Pondexter plays small forward for the Memphis Grizzlies. He was first drafted by the Oklahoma City Thunder in the 2010 NBA Draft and was then traded to the New Orleans Hornets. In December 2011, he was traded by the Hornets to the Memphis Grizzlies. Quincy played college basketball for the University of Washington where he still holds the record for the most career games played and home games won.

Quincy caught the attention of basketball fans after his recent performance at the Game 4 of the Western Conference Finals where he made 22 points, 3 rebounds, 2 steals, and 1 assist; though not enough to win them the finals trophy against the Spurs. But apparently, his solid game also caught the eye of Ms. Tennessee.

Chandler Lawson graduated summa cum laude at the University of Tennessee with a degree in Political Science. She is an active supporter of the fight against child hunger setting up her own non-profit group. Today, Chandler travels across different states as a role model to thousands of students.
