The most recent reports for Savannah Guthrie's debut week on the 'Today' show signal ABC's 'Good Morning America' to dominate TV ratings through Wednesday of this week.

The Chicago Tribune is citing Nielsen preliminary reports to inform that 'Today' continues to "bleed" while GMA continues to extend its margin of viewers over NBC's morning show with Wednesday's 580,000 viewers being the week's largest margin, so far.

GMA vs. Today ratings for the week until Wednesday finalized with roughly 4.38 million vs. 4.02 million viewers and GMA even lead viewership among the 25-54 years demography.

According to Nielsen, GMA has already become the most viewed morning show in the nation for "six of the past 13 weeks" and it is positioned quite comfortably ahead of Today.

The ratings for 'Today' apparently continue to drop even after Ann Curry was replaced on the show on June 29.

NBC made the decision to replace Curry with Guthrie in order to reverse the ratings slumps. However, things so far seem to go from bad to worse for the network that once dominated TV morning segments for more than a decade.

After Ann Curry was ousted from her position, numerous viewers took to the web to criticize NBC's decision to replace the "most genuine" character on the show, accordingly, and criticize even more the way the network handled her last day on set.

An online poll conducted by the Latinos Post shows that 88 percent of the voters believe NBC made a mistake for replacing Ann Curry as the show's co-host.

Out of the more than 6,000 votes, 5,300 people believe ousting Curry was a mistake against 570 people who believe NBC did the right thing. The rest had other opinions.

With the preliminary TV ratings in hand, it certainly isn't out of the question to believe that Curry's exit may have further hurt NBC's ratings.

Also, it is too early to judge if NBC's dominion of morning shows is over. NBC may have been expecting such results and may have opted to resort to Guthrie in order to yield results, but rather in the long run. If that comes not to be the case, will we be seeing NBC rushing Curry back to set? It'd certainly be something interesting to see.
