Jon Bon Jovi has been making music for a long, long time; over thirty years in fact. He's been in the business longer than Justin Bieber has been alive, and with that wealth of experience, he's offering some advice to the young musician.

Jovi called Bieber an [expletive] for showing up two hours late for a London concert in March. Bieber blamed "technical difficulties" and said he was only 40 minutes late, although many fans reported that he took the stage much later than that.

"Every generation has guys that do that, none of that is new," Bon Jovi said to the London Evening Standard. "They run the risk of disrespecting their audience members who have worked hard to pay for their ticket, to give you the permission to take two or three hours of their lives - or in that kid's case, 80 minutes of their lives.

"Do it once, you can be forgiven," Bon Jovi continued. "Do it enough times and shame on you. They won't have you back. Then it just becomes a cliché. It's really not cool - you're an [expletive]. Go to [expletive] work!"

Bieber has become a controversial figure in the music industry. Despite being only 19 years old, he has amassed a substantial and passionate fan following. He is also the object of much derision among many though, and is often cited as the poster boy for "bad" pop music.

Bieber accepted an win recently at the Billboard Music awards, and took the stage to a considerable amount of booing.

Recently, the young artist also Tweeted that he hopes Anne Frank would have been a fan of his, stirring up many who found the remark to be incredibly insensitive. Last month, he also abandoned his pet monkey in Munich, a move some think continues to highlight the artist's personal flaws.
