A day after the "Nuestra Belleza Latina" beauty competition ended the social networks reacted to Marisela Demontecristo's victory.

Many fans and voters of the show were not thrilled with the winner as they stated that she was too ugly and had no talents.

Twitter reacted immediately with user @Angiee stating, "honestly I don't think the new Nuestra Belleza Latina Reyna should have won..." Another user @YazzyTrejo also agreed and said, "I agree!!! There were way more prettier ones!! Girl you should be on it next year!!!

One user called her ugly stating, "im sorry but that lady that won for nuestra belleza latina ugly . & no i aint trynna be racist or anything cus im half salvadorean ."

@Liiizethh was sarcastic and added, "If the girl who won Nuestra Belleza Latina last night won & she's not all that & she can't properly walk the runway, it gives me hope

Another user went as far as stating that Univision would have lesser viewers next year after Marisela's win. She stated, "Well Univision don't get surprised when Nuestra Belleza Latina gets less viewers next year ☺ sorry."

However there was some positive feedback as the Salvadorian community celebrated their country's victory. User @Maj_booboo stated, "I'm soo proud of Marisela though Nuestra Belleza Latina 2013."

Meanwhile @BrendaSorayda23 wrote, "Yup this Beautiful Salvadorian Won Nuestra Belleza Latina !!!!"

Demontecrtisto surprised judges and audiences as many believed she was the weakest competitor of the five finalists. Many believed that Audris Rijo would win but her nude pictures unveiled at the beginning of the season ultimately hurt her chances of winning.

Demontecristo won $250,000 as well as a chance to be on the front cover of Cosmopolitan magazine. Meanwhile finalist Viviana Ortiz took home a scholarship to work at the Univision studios where she will be trained as an actress.

The next season of Nuestra Belleza Latina will begin auditions in January.
