(Pre-Show) The Miz vs. Cody Rhodes

The match started at frenetic pace, both rivals trading blows back and forth, with The Miz showing no ring-rust after taking time off to film movies. Rhodes managed to slow down the pace, using his legs to wear down The Miz. Rhodes continued working on The Miz's midsection, but The Miz fought back with a series of reversals to stay alive in the match. Rhodes attempted a dropkick off the off the second rope, only to get countered by The Miz, who slapped on the figure-four leg-lock in the middle of the ring for the win.

Chris Jericho vs. Fandango (w/ Summer Rae)

Both lock-up to begin the match, with Fandango shoving Jericho into the corner. Fandango flies off the ropes to nail Jericho with a shoulder-block. Jericho comes back with a dropkick and back elbow, forcing Fandango out the ring. Jericho goes up top and hits Fandango with a cross-body. Fandango is back in the ring and attacks Jericho as he tried to climb back into the ring. Jericho counters, laying boots to Fandango, forcing him back out the ring. Fandango climbs back in, only to be sent into the corner. Fandango kicks Jericho in the face, as he rushed his cornered foe, and gets a two-count for his efforts. Fandango continues his attack, clamping a chin-lock before Jericho managed to counter and attempt a pin. Fandango recovers, hitting Jericho with a slingshot leg drop, and gets a two-count. Jericho manages to hit Fandango with a belly-to-back suplex, getting to his feet and avoiding a charge by his opponent. Jericho gets in a few shoulder-blocks before climbing the top rope and smashing Fandango with an axe-handle. Bulldog by Jericho, who the attempts "The Walls of Jericho" only to have Fandango escape. Jericho keeps control with a swift kick before climbing to the top rope and hitting a cross-body, only to have Fandango roll through the move for a two-count. Fandango attempts two rights, climbs the ropes, only to have Jericho roll out the way of the flying Fandango. Jericho goes for "The Lionsault" only to get a two-count. Chops by Jericho in the corner, sending Fandango across the ring, who counters with a roll up, only to be countered by Jericho who gets clamps on the "The Walls of Jericho." Fandango struggles to the ropes, who then attempts an Enziguri as Jericho charged into the corner. Fandango, trying to maintain the momentum, climbs the ropes and leaps into a Jericho "Code Breaker" and the pin.

US Title Match: Dean Ambrose vs. Kofi Kingston (C)

Shield members Rollins and Reigns accompany Ambrose to the ring but leave prior to the start of the match. Ambrose and Kingston lock up, with Ambrose working over the champion's arm. Ambrose off the ropes, hits a shoulder block, before Kingston counters with a leapfrog and a "Trouble in Paradise" attempt that Ambrose manages to avoid. Kingston hits a monkey flip, following up with mounted rights in the corner. Ambrose counters with a clothesline out the corner, following up with a neck-breaker. Rights by Ambrose, followed by a dropkick and a two-count. Ambrose, wears down the US Champion with a cross-faced chicken wing hold but Kingston manages to get to his feet, breaking the hold before delivering a series of chops and dropkicks. Kingston follows through with a clothesline before climbing the rope to hit the challenger with "The Boom Drop." Kingston attempts "Trouble in Paradise", with Ambrose avoiding the finisher, only to eat an "S.O.S." for a two-count. Kingston climbs the ropes, only to have Ambrose stop him with rights, following him to the top. Both trade shots before Kingston sends Ambrose flying to the apron. Ambrose up again and nails a butterfly super-plex on the champion. Two-count for the challenger before Kingston regains control with a kick, as Ambrose was charging at him. Cross-body off the ropes, by Kingston, leads to another two-count for the champion. Ambrose rolls out to the apron and gets sent flying to the floor after Kingston nailed him with "Trouble in Paradise." Kingston rolls the challenger back into the ring and gets a two-count after Ambrose reaches for the ropes to break the count. Ambrose counters with a roll-up for a two-count, before Kingston attempts another "Trouble in Paradise", only to miss and get nailed with an Ambrose bulldog driver for the three-count; giving The Shield their first championship in the WWE.

Strap Match: Sheamus vs. Mark Henry

Lights are set in the corner so that fans can follow who has touched the corners. Sheamus snaps the strap in Henry's face before tripping him with it, to start the match. Sheamus works over the World Strongest Man's legs, laying kicks into him as he tries to touch the corners. Henry fights back with a clothesline and tries to tie up the Irishman's legs with the straps, dragging him as he attempts to touch the corners. Henry touched two of the turnbuckles but Sheamus rolls out the ring, breaking up the cycle. Henry pulls Sheamus back into the ring but Sheamus counters by stun gunning Henry onto the top rope. Sheamus attempts to tag the corners, from the apron, managing to tag three of them before Henry charged at him, sending him crashing to the floor. Henry slams Sheamus back into the ring only to whip him with the straps. Henry picks up his worn-down opponent, touching the corners, but Sheamus also touching them as well. Both competitors touch three turnbuckles before Henry drops Sheamus, slamming him down. Sheamus crotches Henry with the strap and clothesline him, following up with repeated knees and strap whips to his fallen rival. Sheamus attempts to touch the corners and gets three of them before Henry slams the Irishman to cut off his count. Henry takes the action to the floor, before Sheamus recovers and tries to Henry to the post with the strap. When that plan did not pan out for Sheamus, he uses the strap to slam Henry into the steel post. Sheamus tossed Henry back into the ring, touches three turnbuckles but Henry gets back to his feet. Sheamus charges, Henry counters and prepares to hit "The World Strongest Slam" but Sheamus fights out the slam, hist the Brogue Kick, and touches the fourth turnbuckle for the win.

Del Rio tosses Swagger to the floor, early in the match, and a nails a suicide dive, to take control. Del Rio looks under the ring and gets his hands on a Kendo stick. Del Rio swings and misses, before Swagger counters with a belly-to-belly suplex. Swagger chokes Del Rio with the stick over the barricade, with Del Rio refusing to quit the match. Del Rio fights back with rights and tosses Swagger into the corner. After refusing to quit, Del Rio slams Swaggers arm into the barricade repeatedly as well as stomping on it. Swagger fights back with the Kendo stick and sends Del Rio flying into the corner. Del Rio, refusing to quit, catches Swagger's Kendo stick as he was attempting to use it, and ends up eating a clothesline for his troubles. Swagger continues smacking Del Rio with the stick, who is trapped in the ropes, but refuses to quit. Del Rio counters with an arm-bar on the ropes. Swagger refuses to quit and hits Del Rio with the mic, to break the hold. Swagger grabs a chair but takes a Del Rio Enziguri as he climbed back into the ring. Del Rio follows up with clotheslines, a Tilt-a-Whirl back-breaker, and a Superkick, but Swagger refuses to quit. Del Rio ties up Swagger to the ropes, grabbing the Kendo stick, and taking repeated shots to Swagger's back. Swagger refuses to quit and takes a "Backstabber" from Del Rio. Del Rio attempts an arm-bar, but Swagger escapes, slamming Del Rio onto the mat and hitting the Vader Splash from the corner. Swagger hits Del Rio with the Doctor Bomb. Del Rio refusing to quit, takes another another Doctor Bomb. Del Rio still refusing to quit, countered with an arm-bar. Swagger shakes off the referee, escapes, and cinches the ankle lock. Del Rio won't quit, so Swagger grapevines the leg for extra leverage and damage. Ricardo looks to throw in the towel for Del Rio but Del Rio pleads with him not to do it. Coulter knocks down Ricardo, grabs the towel, and tosses it into the ring, with the ref calling the match for Swagger. But another referee comes running down the aisle to tell the official ref what happened outside the ring. The official referee goes to the replay and restarts the match. Swagger charges and attacks Del Rio's injured leg. Del Rio kicks Swagger's arm to escape and nails the cross-arm breaker. Swagger fights but Del Rio pulls him back down and Swagger says "I Quit."

Tornado Tag-Team for the Tag-Team Championship: The Shield (Roman Reigns & Seth Rollins) vs. Team Hell No (Kane & Daniel Bryan) (C)

Reigns and Rollins roll to the ring without the new US Champion, Dean Ambrose. The chaos begins as soon as the bell rings, with Bryan hitting a surfboard on Rollins, followed by a dropkick by Kane, who Bryan had trapped in his hold. Reigns storms the ring and helps turn the tide for The Shield, as they start to beat down Kane, then double-teaming Bryan. The Shield continue playing the numbers games, setting up Bryan for a superbomb off the ropes, but the tag-team champ counters with a Hurricanrana. Kane tosses both members of The Shield to the floor, with Bryan following up with a suicide dive to the outside. Team Hell No tosses both member of The Shield back into the ring, following up with corner attacks. Team Hell No double-team Reigns with a side-slam. Kane climbs the ropes and clotheslines Rollins. Bryan follows up with a headbutt but only gets a two-count after Reigns made the save. Reigns stops a sunset flip but Bryan cinches the "No Lock" on him as Kane tries to keep Rollins on the floor. Rollins eventually gets into the ring, only to take a Kane choke-slam. Reigns hits Kane with a spear and looks for his partner for help but gets attacked by Kane instead. Reigns tosses Kane into Bryan, followed by a Superkick to Bryan's stomach, but Kane makes the save with a choke-slam attempt, which is stopped dead in its tracks by Rollins' off the top ropes flying knee. Reigns spears Kane, but only gets a two-count, before Bryan makes the save. Bryan kicks Rollins, who then counters a Rollins' roll-up into the "No Lock" submission hold. Reigns breaks the hold and tosses Bryan into a Rollins kick. Reigns slaps on the "Torture Rack" on Bryan, who converts it into a Doomsday Knee Drop, and into a driver before earning the three-count and the tag-team championship.

Extreme Rules Match: Randy Orton vs. The Big Show

The Big Show and Orton begin brawling right away, on the floor, with The Big Show landing chops on Orton. Orton attempts to use a Kendo stick only to have The Big Show break the weapon. The Big Show goes for a body-slam but Orton escapes and sends the behemoth wrestler flying into the ring post. Orton grabs a ladder but The Big Show kicks it in his face. The Big Show tosses Orton back into the ring, tossing him shoulder-first into the ring post, and then stepping on his throat. The Big Show continues to wear down Orton's shoulder before trying a corner splash. Orton takes out The Big Show's knees, following up with a dropkick. Corner splash by Orton, before raining rights onto his opponent. But The Big Show slams Orton down and gets a two-count. The Big Show then fetches a ladder and several chairs, setting the ladder across from the chairs and grabbing Orton and side-slamming him for a two-count. The Big Show lays Orton on the ladder and goes for a Vader splash, only to have his fallen opponent move out the way, hitting the ladder on the landing. Orton gets a two-count, but follows up with his Hangman's DDT, to set up an RKO. Orton covers his foe but The Big Show kicks out at two. The Big Show rolls to the floor, with Orton following and grabbing a chair. Orton slams the chair across The Big Shows back, connecting three times. Orton hits The Big Show, with chair, one more time in the gut before countering with a spear on Orton. Both men down as Orton gets up first and nails The Big Show with lands an RKO onto a steel chair. Orton backs up, as The Big Show attempts to get back onto his feet, only to eat Orton's concussion kick, and taste defeat at the hands of "The Viper."

Last Man Standing Match for the WWE Championship: Ryback vs. John Cena (C)

Ryback and Cena lock up before Ryback shows his strength with a shoulder-block. Cena manages to get Ryback into a side-headlock, but is thrown off the ropes and eats another shoulder-block. Locking up again, Ryback clamps a headlock, goes off the ropes, and a shoulder-block by the champion drops the challenger. Cena flings Ryback into the corner, goes for a whip and bulldogs Ryback from behind. An angry Ryback counters by charging into Cena and knocking him down to the mat. Ryback keeps Cena in the corner and shoulder-rams the champion. Cena counters with rights and boots to the challenger. Cena climbs to the second rope but Ryback catches him and turns it into a power-slam. The referee begins the 10-count but Cena gets up at six before he gets mauled by Ryback. Hard suplex by Ryback, and the ref begins the count. Ryback stops the officials count and press-slams Cena before he allows the referee to count again. Ryback breaks the count again, and dead-lifts the champion into a power-bomb. Ryback allows the referee to make the 10-count but Cena gets himself up at eight. Ryback charges Cena, who low-bridges him, sending the challenger to the floor. Cena grabs a table, as the referee begins the 10-count against Ryback, sliding it into the ring as Ryback gets back onto his feet. Cena attempts the A.A. but the challenger counters and hits Cena with a backpack stunner. Ryback sets up the table in the corner, as the referee puts the count on Cena. Cena makes it to his feet before eating rights from Ryback, who bounces off the ropes, nails two shoulder-blocks and sends Cena through the table, set up in the corner. The referee starts the 10-count on Cena, who gets up at eight, and sidestepped a charging Ryback. Cene hits the Proto-Bomb, the five-knuckle shuffle, and attempts the A.A. before Ryback counters and spears the defending champion. As the referee counts Cena down, Ryback tosses a table to the floor and picks Cena up, who counters, and power-bombs Ryback through the table. The referee gives Ryback the ten-count, as he catches his breathe, before the challenger gets up at eight and falls back down. Cena attempts a Hurricanrana, which he botches and attempts to turn into a submission hold before Ryback slams the champion to the mat. The referee counts, but Cena makes to his feet before getting clotheslined by Ryback. The challenger paces, as the referee makes the count, with Cena getting up at nine. The champion avoids a clothesline and hits the STF. Cena maintains the hold and lets go when he believes Ryback has passed out. The referee continues his count as Cena grabs another table, setting it up as Ryback gets up at the count of nine. Ryback slams Cena to the mat and yells "FINISH HIM" before attempting the "Shell-Shock". Cena counters and A.A.'s the challenger through the table. Both wrestlers are down as the ref starts the count. Cena makes it to his feet as Ryback struggles to get up himself. Cena climbs the ropes, only to get stopped by Ryback, who nails the "Shell-Shock" off the top rope. Cena, down, makes it to his feet, at the nine count, only to eat kidney shots from Ryback. Cena, down in the corner, saves himself from Ryback, who is wielding a steel chair, kicks the challenger in the face. Cena follows up, onto the floor, and spears Ryback through the timekeeper's area, through the barricade. Both make it to their feet and brawl into the crowd. Ryback rips apart a hockey board and slams Cena with it. The referee begins the 10-count with Cena getting up at the nine count and catching Ryback with a Sleeper Hold, draped all over the challenger's back. Ryback tries walking with Cena piggy-back, still cinching hard, as he begins to fade. With Ryback down, Cena breaks the hold. The challenger makes it to his feet, and continues to brawl with Cena until the champions lays Ryback on a table. Cena goes into the stands, climbs the first level off the floor, and hits an elbow drop, putting Ryback through the table. Both competitors make it to their feet, as Cena grabbed a fire extinguisher, setting it off in the challenger's face. Cena chases the challenger down onto the stage, shoots him with the extinguisher several times, hitting Ryback repeatedly with it. The referee starts the 10-count on Ryback again but he makes to his feet before getting nailed with the extinguisher again. The referee begins the count on the challenger, again, but he make it to his feet. Cena sets up Ryback for another A.A. But Ryback escapes and picks up Cena and puts the champion right through the wall of the set. The ref runs back stage to look for the fallen wrestlers, finding them laid out as trainers attend to them. EMT is brought to the back and backboards Cena as trainers help Ryback to his feet and take him away for further medical attention. The match is called a no-contest.

Steel Cage Match: Triple H vs. Brock Lesnar

Triple H attacks the former Ultimate Fighting Championship titleholder, during his entrance, before Lesnar could get into the ring. Triple H then turns his attentions to Heyman, taking him out, before tossing Lesnar into the cage repeatedly and hitting him with a Spinebuster. Lesnar regains his senses and tosses Triple H to the cage, as he attempted a Pedigree. Lesnar follows up with rights, slamming Triple into the cage repeatedly, as he was in-between the ropes and cage. Lesnar tosses Triple H over the ropes and into the cage, but Triple H fights backs, escaping a slam, and tossing Lesnar into the cage. Triple H nails Lesnar with a high knee, but Lesnar recovers and tosses Triple H around with a German suplex. Lesnar picks up Triple H and power-slams him into the cage. Lesnar sets up for a high knee but Triple H moves and Lesnar crashes into the cage, knee first. Triple H goes up top, but Lesnar grabs him and hits a running power-slam, grabbing his own knee, in pain, yelling to Heyman that he's hurt. Triple H targets Lesnar's injured knee, nails the face-buster, and attempts the Pedigree, but Lesner reverses it into a kimura. Triple H attacks Lesnar's bad knee but loses the momentum after a punishing Lesnar clothesline. Lesnar attempts to escape the cage through the door, but Triple H chop-blocks to prevent his prevent his victory. Triple H looks to escape but Heyman tosses the referee and slams the steel door into Triple H's face. Lesnar attempts the F5 but only gets a two-count. Lesnar calls for Heyman to toss him a chair, which Lesnar uses to level Triple H with it. Heyman pleads with Lesnar to leave the cage and seize the victory, but he grabs Triple H, instead, to set him up for another F5. But Lesnar's weakened knee buckled and Triple H followed up with a chop-block. Triple H continued his assault on Lesnar's damaged knee with chair shots and dropping elbows on it. Lesnar rallied back, after Heyman distracted Triple H begging for mercy for his client, and locked in a kimura again. Triple H slams Lesnar to the corner and breaks the hold. Triple H works over Lesnar's knee and attempts a figure-four leg-lock. Lesnar fights to the ropes but there is no rope break, so Lesnar turns the hold over, forcing Triple H to release the hold. Triple H scurries for the door as Lesnar climbs to his feet and starts climbing the cage. Lesnar gets to the top, but Triple H nails him in the knee with a chair. Triple H climbs the top rope, brawls with Lesnar and slams him off the cage. Triple H smirks as he grabs a sledge hammer that was camouflaged into the cage and prepares to use the weapon on Lesnar. Lesnar makes Triple H miss and takes the sledge hammer, missing as he retaliated. Triple H attempts a Sharpshooter, which Lesnar fights off, refusing to tap out, and grabs the sledge hammer. Heyman jumps into the cage and gets Pedigree'd for his troubles. Lesnar grabs the sledge hammer but eats a Pedigree. Lesnar pops out at the two-count before Triple H grabs the sledge hammer again. But Heyman sneaks up from behind and low-blows Triple H as Lesnar gets to his feet, and grabs the hammer, slamming it into Triple H. Lesnar limps around, celebrating, as he picks up Triple H and finishes him off with an F5 for the win.
