It's beginning to look unlikely that Google will show off a fresh version of Android or a new Nexus handset at this year's Google I/O conference, but a new report states that Android 4.3 will be debuting on a new Nexus 4 in June.

The new Nexus 4, however, won't be the LTE model that everyone's been speculating about, if Android and Me is to be believed. The website claims that the next Nexus handset is merely a Nexus 4 in white. There are apparently no hardware differences, which might come as a blow for those hoping to finally use a Nexus 4 on CDMA networks like Verizon. According to the report, the white Nexus 4 will land on Google Play June 10, less than one month away.

The same Android and Me report goes on to say that the white Nexus 4 should ship with Android 4.3 out of the box. The operating system should then makes it way around the rest of Google's current nexus lineup - the black Nexus 4, the Nexus 7, and the Nexus 10.

It is not known if Google will hold a separate event to launch Android 4.3 and the white Nexus 4.

While many initially thought that Google would reveal Android 5.0 "Key Lime Pie" as the next iterant of Android, recent server log activity and reports indicate Google might be holding off on an overhauled Android operating system until later. Instead Android 4.3 is said to be a minor update. No details are known about new features, except Bluetooth Smart is expected to be supported.

What do you think about Android 4.3 and a white Nexus 4? Would you like to see some more next-generation hardware out of Google soon? Or do you think the current Nexus lineup is strong enough to hold its own against newer handsets and tablets?
