The 16GB Samsung Galaxy S4 is available now at every major U.S. carrier except for Verizon, and AT&T just announced it will have the 32GB model later this week.

That's $50 more than the 16GB model. If you're craving internal storage, though, it's worth noting the 64GB model should only cost another $50 more, a bargain considering it has quadruple the memory of the base model.

However, all models of the Galaxy S4 come with an SD card slot, so if you have one lying around or are willing to purchase one, that's probably a better route. Some customers have been complaining that the 16GB version actually has less than 9GB of space free, once the operating system and unremovable system and carrier apps are installed. Samsung suggests picking up an SD card, but that doesn't solve the issue so much as make it ignorable.

Moving apps to the SD card also requires workarounds these days, so it's often necessary to have a fair bit of internal storage available. Not a problem is you're planning on rooting your device, but it will be a while before builds are available for every carrier and model.

The Samsung Galaxy S4 features a 1.6GHz eight-core Exynos 5 Octa processor or a 1.9GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor (depending on country), 2GB of RAM, a 5-inch 1920x1080 Full HD AMOLED display at 441 ppi, a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera with 1080p HD video, a 2-megapixel front facing camera, internal storage between 16 and 64GB, an SD card slot that can accommodate an additional 64GB, a polycarbonate body, Smart Pause and floating touch tech and runs Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean.
