The World Premiere to Steph Green's feature film debut "Run and Jump" was held on April 20th at the Tribeca Film festival.

The film's stars Maxine Peake, Edward Macliam and Will Forte arrived on the Red Carpet with Green and producers Martina Niland and Tamara Anghie.

"Run and Jump" was produced in Ireland and tells the story of a spirited Irish wife who struggles to keep her family together after her disabled husband returns home after suffering a stroke.

The film scored positive reviews with Variety stating "Steph Green's debut feature captures the beauty of an obviously flawed family with remarkable warmth and immediacy"

"Downtown Express stated "As much as "Run and Jump" makes you realize that life as we know and love it might be over in a heartbeat, it also serves as a pledge that there is always much to live for."
Big Picture Big Sound gave the film three stars out of four and stated "'Run & Jump' won't startle you. It won't bowl you over with laughter or make you tense enough to grip your seat. What it will do is waft pleasantly over you leaving you oddly satisfied."

Latinos Post's Francisco Salazar called the film "a wonderfully charming piece of filmmaking that takes the viewer on a positive and spirited journey."

Prior to "Run and Jump," Green helmed three short films including "New Boy," and "Copywrite." She was nominated for an Academy Award for "New Boy" in 2009.

Peake is best known for her work in Ireland and is currently starring in the TV series "The Village" and a new film "Keeping Rosy." Macliam was recently seen in "Holby City" and will next be seen on the TV Movie "Big Thunder." Forte is best known for his work on "MacGruber" and "SNL." He will next be seen in Alexander Payne's Cannes film "Nebraska" and in "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2."

"Run and Jump" will play one more time on April 26th at the Tribeca Film Festival.
