T-Mobile has officially confirmed on Twitter that the HTC One will be available Apr. 24.

"@aleyda0330 T-Mobile announced it will be launching the HTC One (LTE) April 24! ^AG," T-Mobile tweeted in response to an exasperated customer.

The HTC One will cost $99 upfront, with $20 monthly payments for two years.

This means the One will be available on T-Mobile the same day as the Samsung Galaxy S4, likely cutting into HTC One sales shortly after the company's worst quarter in its history.

The HTC One finally makes its American debut on AT&T and Sprint Apr. 19, giving the company's flagship phone only a 5-day head start before the Galaxy S4 hits the American market. The One has been delayed for six weeks amid supply shortages and sourcing issues for its new UltraPixel camera. After last year's sales slump and HTC's unreliable order history, sources insude the industry say the company isn't considered a "tier one" customer anymore.

It's possible that HTC wasn't aware T-Mobile would offer the Galaxy S4 so early, since earlier announcements from the company said it would debut May 1. Now HTC's lead on T-Mobile has dropped from a week to nothing.

While no one expects the One to significantly cut into sales of the Galaxy S4, it will have a price advantage. Nearly all T-Mobile phone, including the One, stick to the $99 price point, but the Galaxy S4 will cost an additional $50 premium.

The HTC One features a 1.7GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor, 2GB of RAM, a 4.7-inch 1920x1080 pixel widescreen Super LCD 3 display, a 2300 mAh Li-Po battery, a 4-megapixel "Ultrapixel" camera with enhanced low-light sensitivity with 1080p HD video, up to 64GB of internal storage and runs Android 4.1.2.
