On Sunday April 14th Jennifer Lawrence won three MTV Movie Awards, but failed to show up.

The actress won Best Female Performance, Best Scared Performance and Best Kiss with her co-star Bradley Cooper but failed to attend the ceremony. Deadline reported that "there was a scheduling conflict." The actress was last seen on the set of David O. Russell's new film "American Hustle which she is starring alongside fellow MTV nominees Christian Bale and Bradley Cooper.

However, according to MTV her no show made them scramble and had to reorganize the show. The network stated that she embarrassed MTV because they had arranged for a lot of "Hunger Games: Catching Fire" promotion during the telecast for the film's fans. MTV had also arranged a sketch with host Rebel Wilson and Lawrence in which they were to play sisters.

After the show MTV stated that the audience was audibly absent. Interestingly enough the network did not air the Best Actress award and the Best Scared performance award live. Instead they announced the awards after the show. Additionally they released the Wilson skit as a bonus clip. They stated "Wondering where Jennifer Lawrence was during Sunday night's MTV Movie Awards? We were too, and we wonder if her absence doesn't have something to do with a remarkable new clip from MTV's "True Life" featuring Lawrence's twin sister, Katherine."

Neither Lawrence nor her representatives have released a statement as to why the starlet did not show up. Lawrence is currently working on the new "X-Men: Days of Future Past" and will also reunite with Russell for an untitled project for Harvey Weinstein. Lawrence will next be seen in "Serena" alongside Cooper and "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire."
