A day after returning to the stage Selena Gomez announced her Worldwide Tour.

The new tou,r which will promote her new CD, will begin in Vancouver on August 14and will conclude on November 27 in St. Louis, with stops throughout Europe and North America.

Presale tickets for select cities and VIP packages will be available on April 17 and all tickets will go on sale April 20 via Ticketmaster.

Before her tour the "Spring Breakers" star will perform on April 27 at the Radio Disney Music Awards where she is nominated for Best Female Artist.

The tour was announced a day after Gomez performed her new single "Come & Get It" at the MTV Movie Awards for which she received negative reception. Various Twitter posts said she was culturally insensitive.

@xstripes - "selena gomez makes the horrible cultural appropriation surprisingly not-sexy"

@nat_dee- "Deal Selena Gomez the bindi is not just some fashion accessory you can throw on, cultural appropriation man"

@diannamv4.- "so did like no one think to tell selena gomez beforehand that her entire performance was eight kinds of super bad cultural appropriation????"

This is not the first time Gomez stirs up controversy. Last month the starlet starred in "Spring Breakers" which she was seen half nude. The media brought attention to her turn because it was a complete contrast from her previous fairy tale and children oriented films.
