If reports are true, Rihanna's love life is about to get very interesting and complicated. Thankfully she has a song for that. The dust hasn't even settled upon news that she broke up with boyfriend Chris Brown, and we are already talking about the next man.
It's no secret that Rihanna and Chris have had trouble in their relationship. Once together in the past for a couple years, the singers' love turned violent after Brown physically assaulted her in 2009. Taking a hiatus and abiding by the judge's restraining order, the two went their separate ways each linking to another. Whispers started back up in 2012 when the two collaborated on each other's singles - shocking fans. Sparking up rumors of an on-again romance earlier this year, Chris and Rihanna attended the 2013 Grammys together where Rihanna appeared to serenade Brown with new single, 'Stay.' Things seemed to be looking up for the young talents as both were unashamed to post photos of each other on their Instagram accounts.
Now it looks they are once again no more. In an interview with Power 106 FM just a few weeks ago, Brown admitted him and Rihanna are in fact no longer together. With each party now single, who would have thought that singer John Mayer would try his luck with the Barbados princess?
Rumor mills are swirling over news that John Mayer has been reaching out to Rihanna via text. Though no one can confirm what specifically the texts mention, sources report the 35 year-old has had a crush on the singer for quite some time. Hopefully his internal adoration did not overlap with his romance with former girlfriend, Katy Perry as she is close friends with Rihanna.
This may in fact prove to be just a fantasy as Rihanna posted a photo today of her and Chris Brown. Plus - didn't Mayer give an interview indicating he and his male member have a preference when it comes to women?
