Move over Braxton family, there is a new group of singing sisters coming your way. Scheduled to air this fall on WE tv is a new reality show that follows the lives of singer Bruno Mars' sisters. Tiara, Presley, Tahiti and Jamie are here to show the world their Grammy award winning brother is not the only one in the family with a set of pipes.
Singing in harmony as the Lylas (stands for Love You Like a Sister), the new show will follow the siblings as they embark on the journey of signing a recording deal. Presley, Tahiti and Tiara say aloha to Hawaii as they set out for new beginnings with sister Jaime in Los Angeles. In a new city and full of hope, the Lylas will take us on the adventure of finding a record deal and making a name for themselves outside of their brother's shadow. Their new show should be quite entertaining as two of the four sisters (Jamie and Tahiti) are mothers each with two sons.
"The Lylas are fierce, independent women, leaving their home - and in some cases their relationships and kids - for a chance at pursuing their love of music," says Lauren Gellert, network Senior Vice President of production and development. "Their story is one filled with all of the drama and chaos that comes from making a major life change, with the added spice of doing it alongside your sisters."
One thing that is undeniable about these sisters is their talent and beauty (all have a modeling contract with a department store in the Philippines). Their single "Come Back" is a beautiful ballet that demonstrates their knack for harmony and proves their family is full of talented vocalists.
