Regardless if you are a workaholic, should you let business get in the way of family? That does not seem to be the case for Kim Kardashian and her boyfriend Kanye West. Together for a little over a year, news of their first child on the way was a real shocker considering Kim is still married to husband of 72 days, Kris Humphries. As both Kim and Kanye keep very busy schedules, it should only be expected that they spend some time apart fulfilling work commitments.
On the show "Kourtney and Kim Take Miami," it was quite evident that the pair would not be in the same city or state for that matter all the time. "We don't like to spend more than three weeks apart," Kim reveals in one of the episodes. If that is the case - why has the couple only spent 18 day together since announcing the news of their baby?
People are starting to pay attention to the absentee West with reports that the couple has spent less than 20 days together since December 2012. It would seem they were inseparable in the beginning of the year with trips to Paris and Brazil. However in March, Kanye's schedule became ever busy with tour dates across Europe - making less of an effort to head back to the States. To compensate for the time apart, Kim flew to be with her man, which might have contributed to a pregnancy scare on March 5.
Heading back to the U.S., Kanye surprised Kim on March 16 at the premiere of her movie, Tyler Perry's "Temptation: Confessions of a Marriage Counselor." The reunion would prove to be short-lived as Kim tweeted her departure from Atlanta the following day. There would be one more reunion a couple weeks later as Kim flew back to Europe to be with West.
Even with hectic schedules, one would think a couple expecting a child would want to spend as much time together before the baby's arrival. As Kanye has been working on his next album, could he complete some of the work in the States to be closer to his baby's mother so she doesn't have to travel so much?
Hopefully their schedules will smooth out and soon as Kim approaches her July delivery date.
