It's official: the second DLC pack for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 is entitled Uprising, and Activision has released several new details about what will be available in the new DLC.

The DLC will feature four new maps for Black Ops 2, as well as a new zombie mode entitled Mob of the Dead. Mob of the Dead features four prohibition-era gangsters fighting the undead on Alcatraz. These gangsters will be fully voiced acted by several actors known for playing mobsters in movies and television like Joe Pantoliano from The Sopranos, Chazz Palminteri from The Usual Suspects, Michael Madsen from Reservoir Dogs, and none other than Ray Liotta from the Oscar-winning Goodfellas.

All four are pretty iconic actors, and should provide an extra flair to their zombie map, much like Danny Trejo and company did in the original Black Ops Escalation DLC. The DLC will also feature the Purgatory feature, where the player's mobster will go to the afterlife after being taken down by the zombies.

]In addition to this star-studded zombie map, the four regular maps are entitled Encore, Magma, Studio, and Vertigo. While the other three are all brand-new maps, Eurogamer has pointed out that Studio could be a remake of Firing Range from the original Black Ops.

The Uprising DLC pack was rumored to be the next DLC pack for the game after promotional material for the DLC was leaked earlier this week. The new map pack shall become available on the Xbox 360 April 16, while PlayStation 3 and PC gamers will receive the content at some point later. Those who bought the $50 season pass for Black Ops 2 will get this DLC for free. Those who just wish to purchase this pack separate can also do so for $15.
