We have all been desperately waiting for a trailer to the upcoming "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire." We know it's completed, Sam Claflin admitted that he's seen it with his own eyes. But when are fans going to have a chance to feast their eyes on what promises to be one of this fall's biggest films? Well, new rumors indicate that its official release may be less than two weeks away and will premiere during the MTV Movie Awards.

Remember that the original "The Hunger Games" teaser trailer debuted at the MTV Video Music Awards six months prior to the film's release. It's ready for the public, it's just a matter of when Lions Gate deems us worthy enough to see it, and what better event than the MTV Movie Awards to get people's attention?

"The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" is just seven months away, making the MTV Movie Awards the perfect time for the trailer's release. Not only is the timing perfect, but the MTV Movie Awards is considered primetime for first glimpses at high profile films. It's a night of celebration as well as anticipation.

This is all speculation based on an all-fandom podcast from Hypable, but what they say makes sense. The MTV Music Awards is the perfect platform for the trailer's release. All we can do for now is sit and pray as the days dwindle down to Sunday, April 14.

"The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" hits theaters November 14.
