Taylor Swift Dating Pro Surfer John John Florence? Source Says The Rumor Is Not True

Don't worry guys, Taylor Swift is still on the market. 

Remember those rumors that the 23-year-old country singer was dating Hawaiian surfer John John Florence? Well, they're not true, a source close to Swift told E! News.

Gossip that the "I Knew You Were Trouble" singer initiated contact with the 20-year-old surfer champ and that the two were constantly texting one another emerged two weeks ago when  Florence hinted that he and Swift were engaged in a secret romance. An Australian TV reporter asked the pro-surfer hottie to address the rumors that he was seeing the pop singer during a surfing event in Queensland. 

"Yeah, you know, it's kind of a secret thing going on right now," he replied while smiling. "Can't bust it out in the public just yet."

However, an inside sources told E! News that "there is no truth to this at all," and that "Taylor is not dating-or texting-this guy."

It actually wouldn't even make much sense if Swift and Florence, the 2011 Vans World Cup of Surfing winner, were romantically involved being that the "Never Ever Ever Getting Back Together" songstress just kicked off her Red World Tour last week which is going to keep her pretty occupied over the next few months.  That means she'll have little time to devote to the Hawaiian surfer.

The last beau that Swift seriously dated was One Direction boy band singer Harry Styles. According to US Weekly, the couple called it quits earlier this year while vacationing on the island of Virgin Gorda. Since then, Swift has confessed that her hit single "I Knew You Were Trouble" was written about him.
