Khloe Kardashian caused a Twitter frenzy on Sunday when she posted a picture of her pregnant sister Kim Kardashian consuming alcohol.  Apparently, the photo was taken before the 31-year-old mother-to-be was expecting, however confused followers displayed both concern and criticism toward the pic not realizing that it was taken last year.

In the photo, Kim K., who is currently expecting her first child with hip hop star Kanye West this July, is seen drinking alcohol out of a wine glass with her siblings Khloe and Rob Kardashian in celebration of Rob's birthday.  The caption reads, "Turn it up for @robkardashian birthday."

Immediately followers began to question if the five-month-pregnant reality star was drinking despite being with child.

UK omg! reported that one commenter said: "I thought Kim was pregnant ... Why is she drinking," while another follower said: "Aren't you pregnant @kimkardashian? Why are you drinking?"  Another chimed in saying, "I hope that's not wine."

However, Kim's fans defended the reality star arguing that the pics were taken before she became pregnant.

That same day, Kim K. also revealed that she is suffering from the pains of pregnancy when she tweeted, "It's a little painful. I've gotten sick a couple times. It's getting a little bit more difficult [to get around]. I like to be active but I've been chilling out. I took a week off, just to rest and it was amazing."

But that's not the only stress Kim has had to deal with in the past few days.  Last week, the "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" star was pulled over by the police while she was driving a Mercedes Benz SUV.  She was on her way to her family's home when she was stopped in Calabasas, California. [See photos.] Some reports say was pulled over for her tinted windows while other reports suggested that police caught her using her cell phone.  Either way, Kim K. was let off the hook with just a warning from the officer.
