Dishonored fans will be able to continue their adventures within the game when Arkane and Bethesda release the first story-based DLC pack for the game. The DLC is called Dishonored: The Knife of Dunwall, and will be released April 16 for the Xbox 360, PlayStation3, and PC.

The Knife of Dunwall will put players in the role of Daud, the assassin that murdered the Empress and set the events of the main game in motion. Players will get the chance to use the legendary assassins gadgets, weapons, and magical abilities. As the DLC progresses, users will be able to explore brand new parts of Dunwall and interact with new characters as well, specifically the mercenary group of assassins, the Whalers.

As it says in the DLC's description:

"After assassinating the Empress, and forever changing the fate of Dunwall, you embark on a search for redemption. The Outsider reveals the key to your atonement, but who--or what--is Delilah?"

This will be the first part of Daud's adventures. Bethesda announced to Gamespot that the third DLC for Dishonored will conclude Daud's story. The first DLC pack for the game was a series of challenge maps for the game, and was not story driven like the new DLC content will be.

Dishonored was released in October to critical and commercial success. Recently, it won the BAFTA award for best game of the year. No word yet on when we could see a sequel for the game, but it will most likely show up by the time next-gen systems have been released. Until then, Dishonored fans will have to immerse themselves in the story of Daud as he seeks redemption for his crimes in The Knife of Dunwall.
