The long awaited version of the Nokia Lumia 920 for Verizon Wireless may be coming next month.

The Lumia 920 edition for Verizon has been speculated to be the Lumia 928, and as Latinos Post reported, it has gone through the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) test with identification RM-860. The Nokia smartphone is expected to join the Verizon carrier due to having Long Term Evolution (LTE) bands 4 and 13, which match Verizon's network.

According to The Verge, the Lumia 928 Windows Phone 8 smartphone is set to launch for Verizon in April.

In addition to the April release date, the Lumia 928 is expected to feature an aluminum case with xenon and LED flash for the 8-megapixel PureView camera.

The smartphone is also expected to bare similarities to the Lumia 920, currently exclusive to AT&T.

The report noted the Lumia 928 will be lighter and thinner compared to the 4.5-inch screened Lumia 920. The upcoming Lumia 928 is reported to be 10.2 mm thin with a slightly curved spine. In another cosmetic news, the Lumia 928 will bare a similar square look to the Lumia 720. A further specification of the Lumia 928 is the same 4.5-inch screen with OLED display.

The Nokia Lumia 928 device was initially given the name "Laser" but a leaked image obtained by Phone Arena showed a Nokia smartphone named "Nokia Lumia 928" listed with fellow Nokia Lumia 822 smartphones.

The addition of the Lumia 928 will come a little over a month after Nokia unveiled the Lumia 720 and Lumia 520 at the 2013 Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.
