Who is better, Cristiano Ronaldo or Lionel Messi? The two greatest living soccer players not only compete in the same league, but for rival squads. During week 25, the two superstars faced off twice while in the 26th each put together epic performances to lead their teams to victory. Who was better?

Messi: During week 25 Messi and Barcelona faced Madrid two times and lost each game. In the 3-1 defeat to Madrid in the Copa del Rey semifinals, Messi was shut out time and again. He scored in the weekend match, but was unable to lead Barcelona to victory. In week 26, he scored one goal in Barcelona's 2-0 romp over Deportivo La Coruna.

Ronaldo: The Portuguese superstar has had a tremendous two weeks. He scored twice in Madrid's Copa del Rey victory over Barcelona and then scored the game winner against Manchester United in the Champions League 2013 Round of 16. Not content with his winner on Tuesday against Manchester, he scored another two goals on Sunday as Madrid defeated Celta Vigo 2-1.
