Last week during the press conference to William Levy's new Telenovela "La Temepestad," the actor showed off his new look but received bad reception by his fans.

The actor's fans wrote via Facebook that they did not like the long hair and that he looked too thin. Followers stated that they didn't like him anymore because of his haircut and that he looked better with short hair. They added that he should cut his hair because he looked "horrible".

Fans also went as far as stating that his co-star Ximena Navarette was too skinny, ugly and looked like a vampire.

Recently Levy revealed the new Tattoo he got done for the series. He stated that he had two done but one was hidden.

"La Tempestad" marks Levy's return to the telenovela after excursions into U.S television and film. He was last seen in "Dancing with the Stars" and will appear in Tyler Perry's next film "Single Moms Club." The actor also starred in "Single Ladies."

Levy recently stated that the reason for his return to the telenovela was because the script to "La Tempestad" was excellent. He also revealed that during rehearsals for the series he had already formed a close bond with his co-stars former Miss Universe, Navarrete and Spanish Actor Ivan Sanchez. Levy also stated that he hopes the chemistry and good working environment will last the entire shoot.

The series began shooting on Wednesday March 6thin Veracruz and will move to the studio after filming on location. "La Tempestad also stars Laura Carmine, Jessica Coch Diana Bracho, Cesar Evora, Alfonso Herrera, and Luis Manuel Avila. Salvador Mejia will produce the series based on the Colombian telenovela "La Tormenta" and is set to air in Mexico on May 13, 2013 on El Canal de la Estrellas. A U.S release has not been issued.
