Lamar Odom Falls Asleep in Court: Later Tries to Hide from Kris Humphries

When you're related to Kim Kardashian, there truly is no rest for the wicked. 

Los Angeles Clipper forward Lamar Odom found that out the hard way. After his team was beaten by the Oklahoma City Thunder on Sunday, Odom headed to New York to deal with some baby mama drama. Okay, that term isn't the classiest, but if it's good enough for Maury. It was a custody hearing. 

While lawyers were consulting with each other, Odom decided to take a nap. Plane rides and getting beaten by the best team in the Western Conference can wear a bench player down. Even when you're an NBA veteran, people don't like it when you fall asleep in court. It was so bad that a court officer told the six-foot-ten Odom "I need you to sit up."

Later that evening, Odom and his wife Khloe Kardashian stopped into high profile restaurant Catch. What they saw, though, made them nearly want to turn around. Sitting across the restaurant was Khloe's soon to be ex-brother-in-law Kris Humphries. The New Jersey Net was already there having dinner with friends when the Odoms arrived. According to the New York Post, when Khloe noticed Humphries, she started "furiously texting on her phone." 

Not to say the Post is exaggerating, but I haven't seen anyone over 25 who can "furiously" text. I think it's the law. it's also been reported that Khloe, 28, hid behind a cocktail menu. Nevertheless, she was spotted by Humphries and the two had no further contact. Humphries is currently suing Kim Kardashian for a 72 day marriage that he claims was based on fraud on her part. I'm sure Khloe didn't want to confront Humphries after telling an audience back in January "I don't know why he's asking for anything? He's fame-hungry. He wants money...I just think everything he's doing is so...it's gross to me." 

Wow, a Kardashian calling someone fame-hungry. No wonder Odom needed a nap.
