"The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" is now just months away. In anticipation for the sequel, Lionsgate revealed a photograph series called "Capitol Portraits" on Monday, featuring the characters from the next "Hunger Games" installment.

The first portrait shows Effie Trinket, played by Elizabeth Banks, elegantly posed, dressed in feathery, blazing red attire. The "Hunger Games" Capitol Couture website will continue to release portraits every few hours that can also be viewed on the film's Facebook and Instagram pages.

This is the first major sneak peak into the "Hunger Games" sequel. "Catching Fire" posters were released in February, but the highly anticipated trailer has yet to be seen. Capitol Couture promised a special surprise for March 4, and although many fans hoped for the official trailer release, the portrait series is undoubtedly going to spark some excitement and keep fans happy.

Effie's extravagant wardrobe is inspired by the film's fashion. "Head to heel in couture, Effie enchants in an exploding silhouette of chiffon and organza blooms. Never one to waver in her fashionable footwear, her hell-less boots are shod with a golden horse-shoe platform," Capitol Couture says on its website regarding Effie's portrait.

More portraits are promised to follow. The website displays the portrait alongside a timer counting down to the next portrait release. The website doesn't say who will appear next, but it's likely that Banks will be joined by Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Woody Harrelson, Liam Hemsworth and Lenny Kravitz, all of whom are part of the star-packed "Hunger Games" cast. Phillip Seymour Hoffman, who has been added to the "Catching Fire" cast, may earn himself a portrait as well.

There's still plenty more to come before "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" release on November 22. More portraits are on the way, all of which can serve as individual posters, and the first official trailer is certainly right around the corner, keeping fans hungry for more "Hunger Games."
