Baseball legend Dwight "Doc" Gooden finds himself in legal trouble--again--after his estranged wife obtained a temporary restraining order against him due to her accusing him of threatening her and her family.

TMZ reported that Monique Gooden told Bergen County police in New Jersey March 1 that Dwight, whom she is estranged from, called her and made "terroristic threats" against her.

She reportedly told police that Dwight had told her, "All bets are off and I will hurt you and your family. You'll see, just wait."

Since the incident, a family court judge has granted Monique a temporary restraining order after speaking to her over the phone.

Dwight was living in the same house as Monique while the couple go through their divorce proceedings, but after the incident, a judge ordered him to grab his possessions and leave. In addition, the ex-baseball star was stripped of visitation right regarding his two young children but has to continue to pay child support and payments to his wife's Range Rover and its insurance.

Dwight--a former Cy Young winner who won World Series titles with both the Yankees and Mets--has had a litany of legal troubles, including battling drug addiction during and after his pitching career.

Once regarded as one of the best pitchers in baseball during the 1980s, Gooden was arrested for DUI charges in Tampa in 2002. He was also arrested in 2005 for battery charges after allegedly punching his girlfriend after she threw a telephone at his head.
