Microsoft Surface Pro 128GB Availability: 128GB Tablet Restocked, Shipment by March 12; 64GB Has No Delays

The 128GB Microsoft Surface with Windows 8 Pro is available for purchase once again after selling out last week.

As Latinos Post reported back on Feb 16, the 128GB Surface with Windows 8 Pro tablet experienced a shipping delay of two weeks. Customers were able to place an order but would not expect the tablet to be shipped until March 1.

A further development took place last week when both the 128GB and 64GB Surface with Windows 8 Pro were "out of stock." At sporadic dates last week, the 64GB tablet began accepting orders once again, but the 128GB remained sold out.

As of today, March 4, the 128GB tablet is accepting orders but customers should remain patient as orders won't be shipped until March 12.

The 64GB Surface with Windows 8 Pro is shipping without delays.

While shipping delays have been reoccurring for the Surface with Windows 8 Pro, the Surface tablets with Windows RT have been safe from shipping delays for both its 32GB and 64GB models.

The news of the 128GB tablet being back in inventory comes days after Microsoft announced it will have the Surface with Windows RT and Surface with Windows 8 Pro available in countries outside the U.S.

"We are eager to see people and businesses in more countries get a chance to experience this new category of devices," said Microsoft Surface Corporate Vice President Panos Panay. "Surface is the best of a tablet and a PC."

The Surface with Windows RT will be available in Japan, Mexico, New Zealand, Russia, Singapore, and Taiwan in later this month. The Surface with Windows 8 Pro will also be available in New Zealand, as well as in Australia, China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, and the United Kingdom.

The Microsoft Surface with Windows 8 Pro is priced in the U.S. at $899 for the 64GB model and $999 for the 128GB model.
