"90210" has been canceled by The CW after five seasons on the network.

The series will continue to run its course on Mondays at 9 p.m. EST until the finale on May 13.

The Feb. 18 episode of "90210" had a series low rating of 0.2 in the 18-49 adult demographic and only attracted 550,000 viewers-according to The Hollywood Reporter.

"The CW has had five great seasons with America's favorite zip code, 90210," said Mark Pedowitz, CW's president. "I'd like to thank the talented cast, producers, and crew for all their hard work and dedication to the series. We are very proud of the West Beverly High alumni."

"90210" star AnnaLynne McCord responded to the cancelation on Twitter.

"Hi every1! Thk u 4 all of the spprt 4 so long I'm sorry u aren't gtting the proper send off u deserve, but plz kno how much ur luv means 2 me!" the actress tweeted following the news.

And Jason Priestly, from the original "90210" series, also tweeted about the show getting the ax.

"Lasted half as long as the original," he said. "Not bad, guys."

Jennie Garth and Tori Spelling revived their roles from the original series as Kelly and Donna for the new rendition of the show.

Shannen Doherty also reprised her role as Brenda for a few episodes of the remake.

Current "90210" actress Jessica Stroup thanked fans on twitter.

"Oh Silver, our time has come to an end but you are a part of me forever," she tweeted. "Thanks to the fans who have been along for the ride. All my love."
