Tiger, Phil and Bubba teed-off at the Olympic Club in San Francisco for the U.S. Open's 2nd round at approximately 1:18 p.m. PST, Friday afternoon.

Compared to the previous day, the crowd following the 'marquee' group had grown tremendously with all eyes placed on Woods who finished -1 on Day 1 and is currently tied for the fourth position.

Through the 9th hole, Tiger was +2 strokes for the day after having birdied the 3rd but bogeying the 5th, 6th and the 7th.

Mickelson was +1 after bogeying the 1st and 6th hole but on the 7th, settled with a birdie after attempting to putt in an eagle. After that, Phil started picking up his game landing some impressive shots to the green.

Bubba Watson hit the trees twice in the first 7 holes but managed to par 6 of them. He was +2 through the 9th hole and is tied for the 114th with a combined +9 for the first and second round. The Masters' champion will have to assert his putts in order to ensure he doesn't miss this year's cut.

It seemed that Tiger started the day where he left off the previous days, but the three consecutive bogeys from the 5th to the 7th brought him down from the 1st position to the 6th.

Dave Shedlosky on UsOpen.com reports that during the five times the Olympic Club has hosted the U.S. Open, only four golfers ever finished under par. This means, expect more than usual bogeys and double bogeys.

The course is known for its tight space including very narrow fairways and small greens.

The tournament on Thursday and it goes through Sunday June 17.
