Tonight's game between the Alabama Crimson Tide (18-9, 10-4 SEC) and the Auburn Tigers (8-19, 3-11 SEC) marks the second time the SEC rivals will square off this season.

Despite a disappointing season overall, Auburn came out on top in their last meeting on February 6. The Crimson Tide's offense was held to a season low 37 points as Auburn's defense held them scoreless for more than nine minutes during the second half.

Auburn's leading regular season scorer, Frankie Sullivan had a quiet night, managing only 4 points, but Allen Payne and Josh Wallace carried the Tigers, scoring 11 points each in the victory. Alabama is coming off a thrilling 97-94 triple overtime loss to LSU on Saturday.

Trevor Releford was the leading scorer in that game, scoring 36 points. Look for him to stay hot tonight as he's averaging 15.4 points per game. Guards Trevor Lacey and Rodney Cooper are each averaging over 11 points per game for the Tide. Offensively they will be looking to do better than the season low 37 they put up in their last meeting with the Tigers.

Auburn currently sits 12th in the SEC standings and they are playing for another upset tonight over Alabama, who sit 2nd in the standings, behind Florida. Auburn will be again looking for strong performances from Wallace and Payne, while also hoping for a stronger performance from Sullivan.

The Crimson Tide are 10-4 in conference play and hope to cut into Florida's two game lead. Auburn's defense will be building off their last performance and again attempt to contain Releford.

The game begins at 7:00 PM EST.
