Morrissey Tour 2013 Update: Rescheduled and Added Dates, Opening Acts

Morrissey has repeatedly graced music headlines for the past month, and he hasn't sung a single note.

The former Smiths singer recently cancelled his performance on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" because he refused to perform on the same show that the stars from "Duck Dynasty" were featured. There's also been much controversy over his Los Angeles Staples Center performance with Patti Smith on March 1. For weeks rumors have gone back and forth as to whether the gig will be vegetarian or not. It's still not entirely clear as to what will be going on at that show. Sigh.

But most pressing and worrisome was his hospitalization for a bleeding ulcer in January. His health conditions forced him to postpone many tour dates, but now that he's better, the tour has been rescheduled and is set to go.

Ironically, the tour was going to kick off with his performance on "Jimmy Kimmel Live," but now we all know that that's not happening. Regardless, the tour will resume on Wednesday, Feb. 27 at the Balboa Theatre in San Diego.
