Rihanna New Make Up Line: Artist Has A New Makeup Collection With MAC

Diamonds may be a girl's best friend but a rufus ruby lipstick will give girls confidence like nothing like it and Rihanna knows that too well.

Yesterday, besides celebrating her 25^th birthday on a beach in Hawaii with her boyfriend Chris Brown as well as having her single "Stay"-- from her seventh album "Unapologetic" -- go up 54 spots to No. 3 on the BillboardHot100, the young Barbadian announced partnering up with MAC Cosmetics on multiple seasonal collections.

This is not the first time the famous makeup brand has worked with a celeb, but it is the first time it works with someone for more than a single project.

"This relationship with Rihanna is a long-term one that involves the development of four distinct color initiatives," John Demsey, group president of the Estée Lauder Cos. Inc. --MAC's parent company -- told WWD.

The collections are called RiRi [Hearts] MAC and they will be sold during her concerts and online while the holiday collections will be sold on-counter.

These sets will have any girl playing makeup for hours. WWD reported that the summer line will have two lipsticks, a Lustre Drops bronzer shade and powder blush duo. Fall's has four lipsticks, a ruby lip gloss, two eye shadow palettes and a pair of falsies. Finally, the holiday lines will bring an extra 10 pieces which include more lipsticks, a nail polish and a pretty make up bag to put it all in!

Each set will include the singer's signature piece, RiRi Woo, a matte Ruby lipstick with her signature imprinted on the packaging.

For the singer this deal is what she called "a no brainer" during an interview with WWD.

"I've been using MAC on tour for such a long time it was a natural fit for me," she said. "I have always loved makeup, and I always said that if I do it, I want to do it with a credible brand."

Rihanna is obviously proud of her work with the brand as she shared a picture of her collection on Instagram. "That's right baby, I'm a #MACgal now," she posted as her caption to the picture. "Get into it, package designed and products created from scratch by yours truly!"
