While the Google-branded LG Nexus 4 isn't nearly as hard to obtain now as it was one month ago, some folks might still be scratching their heads as to where exactly they can go to test out the device in person before buying. Google has taken note of this, and has released an online tracker that will tell you where the closest retail location is with a Nexus 4 device on hand.

All you have to do is head over here and enter your address into the service that was launched on Valentine's Day. The Google Maps-based interface will then quickly let you know which retail stores around you carry the Nexus 4. Although the Google Nexus 4 is a well-known handset that sports some impressive specs and a nice, affordable price tag, the option to try it out in person is still a nice caveat that has sprung up in the Nexus 4 storyline only recently.

The Google Nexus 4 was launched through Google Play, where it quickly sold out and stayed MIA for quite some time before coming back to both T-Mobile and Google Play. Retailers Walmart and Best Buy have also joined the mix, making the Nexus 4 easier than ever to find.

The Google Play store currently states that the Nexus 4 is available for purchase in both the 8GB and 16GB variants. While other stores can offer the phone with a contract, Google Play's models come with no strings attached. At $299.99 for the 8GB model and $349.99 for the 16GB model, it's hard not to see how this is one of the best deals for a high-end unlocked smartphone.

The Nexus 4 also comes with the added perk of being first in line for Android updates, since it takes its orders straight from Google. The handset was just updated to Android 4.2.2, while most of the world is still playing catch up to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.
