Actress Tori Spelling was stranded on the side of the highway with her four kids and a dog in tow after her car broke down.

Spelling, 39, posted an Instagram photo of her family standing forlornly on the side of the road, tweeting, "4 kids. 1 dog. 1 car leaking gas broken down on the side of the road = not a great road trip."

All of Spelling's children are under the age of six, and no one in the photo looked very happy about their predicament. She has four children with husband Dean McDermott: Liam, 5, Stella, 4,  one-year-old Hattie and a new baby, Finn. She doesn't say who took the photo, but the Daily News guesses it was Dean McDermott.

Spelling, best known for her her role on Beverly Hills 90210 and later for various reality shows about her family, was hospitalized for two-and-a-half months during her pregnancy with Finn last year, reported ABC News. She said the time she spent away from her children while she was at the hospital was the "hardest" part of the ordeal.

"I missed the big moments," she told ABC News' Cecilia Vega on Good Morning America in December. "I missed Liam's preschool graduation; Stella's birthday party; Hattie's when she first started to crawl [and] her first word."

She told Vega she will always have a "special bond" with Finn because her pregnancy with him was so difficult. "With Finn...I definitely appreciate every second more with him," she said.
