The PED scandal is growing with each week, and now, more prominent baseball names have been linked to using performance enhancing drugs.

According to Yahoo! Sports, Milwaukee Brewers star Ryan Braun has been linked to the records of a Miami-based clinic that has been accused of distributing performance enhancing drugs for several baseball players.

The report claims that Braun's name was found in three of the Biogenesis of America LLC clinic records Yahoo! Sports obtained. However, Braun's name was not listed next to any specific PED.

Braun Tuesday issued a statement that confirmed that he had a business relationship with Tony Bosch, the founder of the clinic, but that he had consulted with him only to strengthen his case for appealing a 2011 drug test for which Braun tested positive for.

The Brewers star tested positive for elevated testosterone levels in 2011--the same year that Braun won the National League MVP award with a .332 batting average, 33 home runs and 111 RBIs.

""During the course of preparing for my successful appeal last year, my attorneys, who were previously familiar with Tony Bosch, used him as a consultant," Braun said in his statement. "More specifically, he answered questions about T/E ratio and possibilities of tampering with samples."

""There was a dispute over compensation for Bosch's work, which is why my lawyer and I are listed under 'moneys owed' and not on any other list.

"I have nothing to hide and have never had any other relationship with Bosch," Braun added. "I will fully cooperate with any inquiry into this matter."

Braun isn't the only name to surface this week in the Biogenesis scandal--which has already named Alex Rodriguez on the list of players associated with the clinic--as the New York Daily News reported that Seattle Mariners catcher Jesus Montero was also named within the clinic's records.

Montero was a former top prospect for the New York Yankees before they traded him to Seattle prior to the start of the 2012 season.

Sam and Seth Levinson, the agents who represent Montero, have been investigated by MLB since last summer after Melky Cabrera, an ex-Yankee and a former client of theirs, tested positive for high testosterone levels, the Daily News added.

Other clients that the Levinsons represent have also been identified in the Miami clinic documents, including Washington Nationals pitcher Gio Gonzales and Texas Rangers outfielder Nelson Cruz.
