Thinking of purchasing an iPad Mini in the future?

The best time may be now as the shipping times for the Apple tablet has decreased further.

Delivery estimates for the iPad Mini is now one to three days instead of the previous three to five days.

A likely reason for the shorter shipping delay is due to Apple increasing its production of the 7.9-inch tablet with 1,024x768 pixel resolution.

"We sold 23 million iPads and we obviously could have sold more than this, because we could not build enough iPad minis to come into a demand balance," said Apple Inc. CEO Tim Cook during a Jan. earnings call.

Apple has confirmed it has sold 22.86 million iPads during the last quarter, an increase from the 15.4 million sold in the same final quarter in 2011. Specific numbers for the iPad Mini was not released but speculation has reported it is performing better than the fourth generation of the iPad (iPad 4).

The iPad Mini also features 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB of internal storage with 512MB of RAM, five-megapixel rear-facing camera with 2,592x1,944 pixels, front-facing camera with 1.2-megapixels, iOS 6 operating system, and available in black and white.

Prices for the iPad Mini stands the same. The 16GB model cost $329, $429 for the 32GB model, and 64GB has a price tag of $529. The Wi-Fi with Cellular models are pricier. The 16GB model starts at $459, $559 for the 32GB model, and $659 for the 64GB when signing with either AT&T, Sprint, or Verizon.
