Imagine having a money-making machine where every time you press a magic button, it dispenses $10,000. That's basically what Twitter is for Kim Kardashian, who earns a staggering $10,000 per Twitter endorsement, reports Wetpaint's Caitlin O'Toole.

"When she tweets three times in a day," O'Toole says, "she rakes in just under the average annual U.S. salary of $31,410."

Who does Kim endorse on Twitter? She's had deals with multiple companies, including Shoedazzle.com, Skecher, Midori Liqueur, a line of $25 "couture" lollipops, and even, briefly, her own credit card called "The Kardashian Kard," according to a report last spring in Time magazine.

A few of her endorsements have landed her in legal trouble, Time's Brad Tuttle reports, including the Kardashian Kard (who would have guessed that a Kardashian-endorsed financial product would be a bad idea?)

Soon after the pre-paid debit card was introduced to the public, "universal bashing of the card ensued," Time reports, "thanks to the product's bountiful fees, which easily topped $100 a year." The Kard was discontinued and the "company that created the card wound up suing Kim and her sisters for $75 million" (the Kardashians won the case).

Kim's recent endorsement of Skechers' round-bottomed "toning" shoes was another debacle. Kardashian said in commercials that the shoes "helped her shape her famously rounded bottom and curves," according to Time.

However, health experts dismissed these claims, and suggested the shoes might actually be dangerous. Skechers ended up paying up $45 million to settle claims they had misled consumers about the shoes' health benefits.

But Kim doesn't have to worry. She still has plenty of lucrative Twitter endorsement deals, and then there's the estimated $40,000 she makes per episode for her various Kardashian reality shows, along with the thousands of dollars she's paid to appear at various parties and night clubs, according to Wetpaint.
