As the final month of winter approaches, so does the hype and excitement of festival season. Music festivals like Coachella, Bonnaroo, and Burning Man stain the warmer months with expressions on freedom and love. They're there to look forward to, to dream about, and to get us through the long, bitter winter. This year however, many festival fanatics were dismayed when tickets to California's Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival sold out within 15 minutes.

In addition to the extremely high demand, reports of issues with purchase attempts flooded the Coachella Facebook page. Many woeful customers complained that the festival's agency, Front Gate, logged out users once they had entered their credit card information, according to the LA Times.

But not all is lost for avid festival goers and Coachella fanatics. Although wait times and site crashes were commonplace yesterday, many tickets continued to sell for almost two hours after the site initially posted that they had sold out. Many times shoppers will place tickets in their shopping cart to reserve a spot in the pecking order, and then as last minute plans change or the daunting cost becomes too much to bear, the transaction is cancelled.

Coachella is held on two consecutive weekends, April 12-14 and April 19-21. The first, more-in-demand weekend is reportedly sold out as of this morning, however there are still passes available for the second.

Coachella has sold out three years running, but tickets to this year's festival flew off the shelves in record time. The lineup includes the 'swagged out' rapper 2 Chainz, face-melting DJs such as Bassnectar and Wolfgang Gartner, and a few heavy hitters like Red Hot Chili Peppers and Modest Mouse.

Not all hope is lost for free love, great music, and drug binges. Coachella tickets will still be available today for the second weekend, but as the site suggests, buy your passes today, for tickets are nearly sold out. The summer is approaching, so start preparing now.
