Miami Zombie Victim: World Unites to Encourage, Comfort 'Zombie Apocalypse' Ronald Poppo

People from all over the world are sending their encouragements and messages of comfort to Ronald Poppo after last week's 'zombie apocalypse' attack in Miami's Dade County that left the homeless man with a completely destroyed face.

Most notes come from the U.S., but citizens from all over the world have also sent their best wishes. (Posts on GiveForward and various online forums)

Ronald Poppo had his face atrociously attacked during Memorial Day weekend in which his mouth, nose, eyes, and ears were all missing. Experts believe he will need several months to recuperate but his face will remain permanently disfigured.

Poppo's medical expenses can reach up to $200,000 or even more according to various doctors.

Luckily, Miami-Dade County will reportedly pay the medical bill. Dade County in Florida possesses a public health fund that covers the costs of health care and surgery for patients. For Poppo's case, there is no better time to disburse those funds.
