Harvey the kitten was born without leg bones, but that didn't stop him from learning how to walk. He just uses his elbows.

Harvey was born with a condition called radial agenesis, which means that his "radius and ulna bones, which connect the upper half of his front legs to his paws, were missing," says to the Daily Mail.

His new owner, Liz McCulloch, says Harvey is a happy cat and doesn't realize there's anything different about him.

"He's a lovely little thing," she told the Daily Mail. "Because Harvey was born that way he doesn't know there's anything wrong with him, so he runs around on his elbows and happily plays with my other cat and dog."

McCulloch rescued Harvey after his previous owner listed him for sale online. With the help of the Cats Protection Agency in Scotland, she raised enough money for Harvey to have an operation to implant pins in his front legs when he's a little older.

"He's OK at the moment," McCullogh said, "but if he doesn't get the operation he'll start to damage his spine when he gets bigger."

He'll have to wait until he's six months old for the operation. But in the mean time, Harvey seems to be getting around just fine.
