After the Heat's Game 2 victory over the Celtics, Boston will now try to even things as they head back home for Game 3 on Friday, June 1st, 8:30 p.m. EST, and Game 4 on Sunday, June 3, 8:30 p.m. EST

Game 2 was twice as physical, twice as contested and twice as thrilling as it required an overtime to define a winner. The Heat finally won 115-111.

Clearly it was Rajon Rondo's night who was 2 rebounds shy of a triple double. The Celtics' point guard who finished with 44 points, 10 assists and 8 rebounds made a clear statement on who Boston's star player is now.

Celtics coach, Doc Rivers, said of Rondo's performance, "He was absolutely phenomenal, put us, put the whole team at times on his shoulders. We had a lot of opportunities to win the game."

The Heat were in troubled waters when they were trailing down by 15 in the first half and as much as 11 in the third quarter, but with James and Wade in command, who combined had a total of 57 points, the Heat grinded past the Celtics who performed remarkably at the American Airlines Arena.

At one point the Heat carried out a 12-0 run against the Celtics, but Rondo and Allen both responded with net-burning-threes to help push the Celtics up by one.

With under a minute left, the Celtics were down 96-99, but Ray Allen nailed a 3-pointer to tie things up. With 34.3 seconds left, James failed to finish the game off in two attempts: a layup and a fade away jumper.

Heat coach, Eric Spoelstra, of the game said, "It has to be the hard way. It always seems to be that competitive when we play against this team. Tonight, it didn't let us down ...It was ugly at times. We couldn't get into a great rhythm."

James finished with 34 points and 10 rebounds and Wade with 23 points and 6 rebounds. Kevin Garnet tallied up 18 points and 8 rebounds and Paul Pierce added up 21 points and 6 rebounds.
