The HTC One M10 is one of the most awaited smartphones expected next year. While there's no guarantee that there will be an actual launch, already rumors have surrounded the HTC One M10. The most recent one is that the device will be equipped with the Android 6.1 OS, according to Android Community.
Google has not yet verified if there will be an Android 6.1. However, with the release of the Lollipop 5.1, it's expected that the tech giant will come up with the same version for the Marshmallow.
Not much is really known about the alleged One M10 flagship. Nevertheless, if rumors are to be given any benefit of the doubt, then the One M10 will be one of the toughest competitors in the mobile market.
According to Christian Today, the enhanced features address the feedback on the HTC One M9, which have been nothing short of disparaging.

- Other rumors claim a pair of 27-megapixel cameras

- Christian Post predicted a 5-inch touch screen display, dual-SIM support, 4 GB RAM and 64 GB or 128 GB internal storage, which is expandable to 2 TB memory via micro-SD card slot
- Wireless charging support
- Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chip
- USB Type-C port
- 3,500 mAh battery
The HTC One M10 release date is expected sometime in spring 2016. This is plausible since it has been nine months since the launch of the company's current flagship, the One M9. Therefore, the HTC One M10 launch could be anytime soon.
Latest rumors regarding the HTC One M10 release date is that it will come two months after the One X9's release, which has been slated for an early Q1 2016 release, even as early as January 2016. This could mean that the formal release of the HTC One M10 is on March or April. In addition, the HTC One M9 was launched in March this year, so the next flagship release could also be slated on the same month of the following year.
This launch date will reportedly provide the One X9 enough leeway in the market since the public's attention will likely be on the HTC One M10 once the highly anticipated flagship is released.
If all rumors are true, then the HTC One M10 could indeed release the company from its bad rep from the One M9. Until then, official announcements are awaited from the company.
