Pokémon fans are searching for new details for the upcoming sixth generation games, however, one should be careful with their search engines.

According to the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (NSPCC), adult material - or simply pornography - has appeared when searching for "Pokémon X" and "Pokémon Y" information. The issue at hand is likely the "X" which has introduced to XXX websites, says The Sun.

"This highlights how the internet can be a Wild West, sometimes leading to children being exposed to totally unsuitable material," said a NSPCC spokesperson, later adding, "This is a growing problem which needs to be tackled so children do not stumble across porn sites."

According to The Sun, a spokesperson for The Pokémon Company International said, "The best resource for Pokémon information is our official site ... we recommend parents direct their children there, where they can always be certain it's a safe and entertaining experience."

Fans can also visit Latinos Post for ongoing coverage for "Pokémon X" and "Pokémon Y" games, set to be released in October exclusively for the Nintendo 3DS.

The new Pokémon games will debut in Australia, Europe, Japan, and North America in the same month, rather than a lengthy hiatus for countries outside of Japan due to localizing the games.

"The worldwide launch of Pokémon X and Pokémon Y this October allows players to begin their adventures at the same time," said The Pokémon Company CEO Tsunekazu Ishihara. "Now, Pokémon fans across the globe can discover the secrets of Pokémon games and can collect, battle, and trade with each other immediately."
