The Houston Rockets (5-3) will look to pick up from where they left off in their previous game when they go up against the Philadelphia 76ers (4-4) on Wednesday night at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia.

The Rockets snapped their two-game losing skid on Monday with a hard-earned 110-104 win in overtime against the Toronto Raptors at the Toyota Center in Houston.

Jeremy Lin had his best game of the 2013-14 NBA season as he erupted for 31 points on 10-for-17 shooting from the field, including a 3-for-6 clip from beyond-the-arc, while also tallying five rebounds and two steals.

The 25-year-old point guard, who is averaging 16.1 points and 4.0 assists this season, will look to sustain his momentum on Wednesday night.

Dwight Howard also had a dominating performance against the Raptors, tallying 18 points and 24 huge rebounds, while James Harden posted 26 points and 10 assists to go along with three rebounds and three steals.

But despite winning against the Raptors, Rockets coach Kevin McHale should be worried with his team's defensive effort as they have allowed their opponents to score 109.6 points a game in their last five games since limiting their foes to 93.7 points in their first three games of the season.

Meanwhile, the 76ers will look to get out of their current slump and regain the form that helped them win in their first three games this year.

After having a surprising 3-0 start this season, the 76ers have lost in four of their last five games with the latest against the San Antonio Spurs at home on Monday.

Rookie Michael Carter-Williams should regain his touch if the 76ers want to have a chance against the star-studded Rockets. The former Syracuse standout, who is averaging 17.4 points and 7.6 assist this season, tallied just eight points and four assists in their 109-85 loss to the Spurs.

The 76ers, who allowed their opponents to score a league-worst 107.1 points per game, split their season series with the Rockets last year with each team winning at home.
