Somebody tells me that Houston Rockets point guard Jeremy Lin is in a zone this offseason.

After he and his bro shot a staggering 78 percent in a three-point shootout last week, Linsanity took his talent to the hard courts of San Francisco this time dropping 45 points in a Pro-Am game.

Lin, who sharpened his game on the courts of the Bay Area during his younger years, is back in his hometown for offseason training.

We all know that Lin had a rough time in his first ever playoff stint in the NBA as he averaged just 4.0 points and 2.0 rebounds in a six-game series against the Oklahoma City Thunder. However, Lin is out to silence his critics once again.

Apparently, an explosive scoring performance in a Pro Am game that featured college ballers and local talents is a good way to start his journey to redemption. Lin scored the ball in a variety of way (fastbreak layups, dribble drive penetrations, and short jumpers), but the most noteworthy of all is the improvement of his three-point shooting.

Last season, Lin just averaged just .339 percent beyond the arc during the regular season. The efficiency even hit rock bottom in the playoffs after shooting just 17 percent from three three-point territory. However, Lin spent these past weeks improving his shooting mechanics and it made wonders for him so far this offseason.

Oops, I almost forgot. Lin Got Dunked on – Big time…
