Two games after his return from a sprained ankle and a bruised knee, Houston Rockets guard Jeremy Lin suffered another setback with a back injury in the 116-112 win by his team over the Golden State Warriors.

His latest injury occured when he ran into Warriors center Andrew Bogut in the second quarter of the match. This forced the Taiwanese-born star to leave the court to get medical treatment. He returned in the dying minutes of the game which they won. The injury comes just a few gams after he missed six more due to the ankle and knee injuries he sustained earlier in the season.

According to the Christian Post, when asked about the status of Lin's injury, Houston assistant coach Kelvin Sampson said, "I played him 14 or 15 minutes in Portland because you could tell he was out of rhythm. The game kind of dictates your substitution patterns...but I certainly made an effort against Golden State to get him more minutes. We're disappointed that he's out, not nearly as disappointed as he is, I'm sure."

The report also noted that rumors are now flying about trade talks involving Lin and several noted names in the NBA.

The Dream Shake reported that Alan Hahn of ESPN Radio said, "And I know this is blasphemy, but I'm telling you right now: Jeremy Lin could also be on his way out of Houston. If they can find a taker for him and that contract...like I said from what I heard, I've talked to some GM's from around the league, there is a strong feeling that if the Rockets can find a taker, they will definitely move Jeremy Lin, that's for sure."

The major parts of a possible trade centered on Houston center Omer Asik may include Lin. Both though are in the injured list, according to Fansided.com, but are being traded. The option would be to remove these bad contracts and have these two players go to another team.
